Drum Sequencing

Hi there, I'm very new to Sonar so please bear with me. I'm using EZ drummer in sonar to drag grooves to a midi track. I want to be able to build a sequence of different grooves on one track. So far I can drag all the grooves I want to the midi track. My problem is that I can't seem to find a way to 'snap' them together so that one groove flows seamlessly into the next. I can line them up by eye but it never works perfectly, I was hoping that there was a way to 'snap' them together so that one drum sequence flows into the next perfectly in time on the same track. I'd greatly appreciate any help with this, Many thanks,

You have to make them into Groove Clips (similar to Acid clips if you're familiar with those). Right click on the clip, and select Groove Clip Looping. Then you can work with them as Groove Clips. Read the section in the help menu on Groove Clips to learn how to manipulate them.

Sounds like a Snap To Grid -thing to me, if the clips are not seamlesly after another. I assume the MIDI-loops are of exact ½-bar, 1 bar, 2 bars etc. length?? Set your Snap settings accordingly. I'd guess 1/4 note is good?
Also, you can zoom the track view horizontally to see better the clip positions.
