Drum build samples

Anyone know a source for good drum build samples ?  By "builds" I mean a series of quarter or eighth note tom or tom/snare hits that crescendo from low to high volume... could be used to intro a chorus.  Been searching around the web and can't find anything.

Can't you just build what you want with Step Sequencer or Piano Roll View?

I am not sure I understand what you are looking for.  It sounds like you just want some 1-2 bar series of drum hits that get louder, to be used ahead of your chorus.

If so, then just build one with midi data with Session Drummer, or Addictive Drums, or whatever you have that you would like to use.

If I missed your question, please explain a bit more - thanks.

My thoughts exactly. Why try to reinvent the wheel when there are tons of wheels available that are ready to go?

With all the drum synths and samples already available, surely you can find exactly what you need in one or more of them.

Then again, maybe I'm missing the whole point.

Yes, I can certainly build it in Session Drummer... which I have actually already done... but also experimenting lately with more drum samples and loops and looking for some good sources of smaller bits like builds and fills and the like.  I have found many drum sample and loop collections, but none with a good selection of builds and fills, hence my question to the group.  Thanks for your quick replies, much appreciated as always.  Cheers.
