Drum maps and track templates

I am trying to make a track template for a string section in Kontakt. I have eight keyswitched instruments in one instance of Kontakt.  I have make new drum maps for each instrument to switch articulations on a separate track for each instrument.  When I save the folder containing the eight synth, eight midi and eight keyswitching tracks, it all loads ok, except for the fact that drum maps do not get assigned.  They do get loaded, but I have to go through and assign each keyswitch track to the proper drum map.  Am I doing something wrong or is this just the way Sonar works ?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Ron

No, it's not Sonar and it should work.

Try saving the whole thing as a project template, not a track template and all your keyswitch assignments should work - mine do, and I'm talking about an orchestral template with 42 keyswitch drum maps, 55 Midi tracks & 38 Audio tracks

Thanks for the reply, Bristol.    The project template does indeed work.  It just seems to me, that a track template should also work, since it is supposed to save all outputs from a track and the drum map appears in the output field.  I have tried it with just one instrument, and it still does not save the drum map assignment unless I have only one midi track for that instrument.  As soon as I add a seperate track for the drum map keyswitching, it fails to save the drum map assignments.  No big deal, but I would like to get it to work., if anyone knows of a way around this, please let me know.
