Drums & Separate Audio Outputs

Hello Guys
I watched a tutorial video recently that said I could, using Sonar, "use a MIDI omni track putting the complete kit onto one track and then be able to have the individual kit pieces on separate audio outputs.
Is this possible and, if so, how?

I'm using MIDI drum "samples/tracks" for most of my play and I'd like to be able to process the kit pieces separately without going into the PRV and extracting each piece individually into a separate track.

Thank you!

Many drum synths have multiple outputs. Even TTS-1 can put parts of the kit on different tracks. How synths assign audio outputs depend on the synth. There are a bunch multi-out track templates bundled with SONAR for Session Drummer. The template for AD2 is here. If you have a specific synth in mind I am sure someone can help.
