Dual monitors mount
I have been struggling with my new powered studio monitors (since they are so much bigger than my old ones), they just don't fit well on my desk. One of the issues is they are even with my lcd monitors and I've been worried about early reflections off of them. The LCDs have giant mounts, so they can't be pushed back any further. So tonight I found some scrap metal and the welder to come up with something. I made this with a couple of electrical box covers and some leftover cromemoly tubing. The other plus is that now I never have to fiddle with lining up the stupid things when I bump them!
I was bored today...made a fishing rod holder too!

That monitor mount is pretty sweet Ron! I also like how it "slams" the monitors down to the surface of the desk.
I must admit I envy your metal working skills, I really wish I had experience with a welder.
Then again, it may be a good thing I don't or otherwise I would probably be in the garage right now trying to build a car from scratch.
