Kate Bush and Bjork (Would love that if it was a songwriting collaboration too)

Although I can't imagine that much imagination being contained in a single track without warping the space / time continuum...

One can dream.

Well, they both were in the same commercial once - does that count?  (With Ozzy asking "What's a Bieber?")

I honestly think that I'd rather hear the drills, sanders and bandsaws
while spending time with John Page building a Tele than I would
sitting and playing guitar with anybody I can think of. (something
I never could have imagined me saying)

That would be a duet I can only dream of...earplugs and all. :)

Yo Yo Ma and Jimmy Page would be interesting at the very least.

I wouldn't care to see drew & bapu either.

you can only take so much of dueling bass in Am.

Even if I do my 8-string fuzz bass thing?

He might try, but he lacks an 8-string. Not sure if he has any bass fuzz pedal thingies.

Hi,

But I'm not sure that an Alembic can play an Am next to Julibee's voice!

Not exactly duets but I did:

1. Play my Uke bass on "Everything Grows" on THIS PAGE with Julibee
2. I did play my Upright Bass model in my Line 6 Bass on the same page on "Whole Lotta Lovin" (Julibee did the backup)
3. I played my Fender P-Bass on "When You Need A Fried" written and played by Janet on the same page.
4. I played bass on "Gimmie Shelter" with Philz and Julibee
5. I did the bass and guitars on "Come Together" with Mooch and Jonbouy

As you can see, I save my Alembic for those special occasions.

Now, I'm happy and satisfied and music jokes about Bapu will have to stop.

As for duets ... I thought about one ... but she'll ruin it. I would like to see Barbra Streisand handle a couple of Peter Hammill songs and see if she doesn't sound like a ****!

Nahhh ... one of them would be playing it backwards and it would sound like a brand new song, and it would be so sweet that we really believed they were in love with  .... the strings of course!

I was taking a reading course on sound effects yesterday, and thought that Bapu needs to learn how to do his Am with a Sock Full of Coustaard thrown against the wall! It would be the ultimate tribute, wouldn't it Jon?

Yeah, ... I got one ... but it was already done ... and was called "The Masked Marauders".  And I have enough comedy that cover duets much better than Bapu and Mooch ever will, or record! Oh yeah! I fell asleep trying to read your post it was so boring. I'm fact I don't even know what your talking about.

Hi,

None really.

Bapu and Mooch would probably put me to sleep, and I might want to throw _______________ (something/anything) at them!

There are some duets, or more singing, that I would like to see and hear, but I'm not sure that the male-oriented-minded group that we have can ever have the beauty to add a Julibee voice, or a hand by Janet to the work ... and that I would like to see. But I'm not sure that an Alembic can play an Am next to Julibee's voice!

As for any famous mixes out there? None and I don't care. Things either happen or they don't depending on the folks ability to try different things, and some folks simply do not try enough to make a difference.

Yeah, ... I got one ... but it was already done ... and was called "The Masked Marauders".  And I have enough comedy that cover duets much better than Bapu and Mooch ever will, or record!

Like rossanna rossanna Dana used to say ...that was so funny I forgot to laugh

Stupider face

Mooch ... you have never heard The Masked Marauders?

You are definitely missing out!

This is the best duet I would like to see for sure.  Actually I would not mind collaborating with Ben on a track. I think it would be interesting to say the least.

Hi,

Ed ... sorry ... Bapu ...

If I was rich enough I would buy you a Chapman Stick or an NS Stick ... which ever you would like to have fun with the most!

Good work. And yeah, the pieces with Juli and Janet are magnificent ...

Thanks for the great afternoon with some outstanding music!
