Dumb Question: Who Are the Bakers
1-Are there people with the last name of Baker working for Cakewalk, or 2-is this a nickname for the development team (Cake/Bakers) or 3-something else? I think #2, but I don't know.

Its a play on the name of the company. Cakewalk the first part is cake those that create a cake are bakers. So here some like to refer to the staff of Cakewalk as bakers. Its a term of endearment.

Was this term initially used by forum members? I saw in one of Cakewalk's web pages that they refer to themselves as "the bakers". So was this a term used by themselves and then taken up by the wider community? So many questions to be answered.
