Dumb track view question

Hi Guys,
I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this, but I need to know, so here goes:
 
In the X3 Track View, in the Track Pane window, there are two small triangles in the upper right corner that let you expand or collapse a track view.  Somehow I've made them vanish, and would like them back.  Can anyone tell me how to do that?

    "Auto Track Zoom" in the Track View View Menu, keyboard shortcut SHIFT+Z

    you can also turn that off if you prefer opening and closing tracks manually like i do.
    look under views in the track view options.
