EDIT: not solved, but it's not Sonar *.11 -And another issue with new version MIDI

Okay so I have a MIDI track and I want to randomise velocities (midi file is set to 127) so I go to the trusty MIDI Editor adjust velocity level, set a randomise level and apply. Go back to the track and its a bunch of gobbledygook notes...notes doubled and tripled, almost like it has added extra notes to the track as well as applying the change to existing ones.

Again, I've been using this tool for years with NO issues at all!!

They aren't needed to work side by side. One or the other will do the job. No, I have no idea what the MIDI editor is.

The Event List the PRV the Staff view are all MIDI editors in Sonar.

Yeah the Midi EXF - sorry I just call it an editor as that is what it does :) So right click on selected data, Process Efx, Midi Efx Been using this for years and all of a sudden it produces these results. I am going to experiment with a few more tracks and different synth plugs....

Just tested, works fine here. Tried it with both standard MIDI files and Groove MIDI files, using either the right-click on clip or putting the FX in the Effects Rack and using the Process > Effects menu.
