So it's a 5-year old thread (where have you gone, Susan?) - the question remains relevant. I used to be a GlissEQ user and liked it a lot, but then a few years ago I got Pro-Q  and quickly retired Gliss. In GlissEQ's defense it does have several features that Pro-Q doesn't, is less-expensive, supports a larger UI and performs equally well as an equalizer. I just prefer the ergonomics of Pro-Q and the convenient band-solo feature.

What do you make of Gliss' claims of "dynamic eq".  Does it make a difference?  I am really not clear what the concept is there.  it seems they are saying that they will apply the EQ, but may not if the sound pressures in that part of the spectrum aren't really high.  Can you hear nay difference?

And Pro-Q has the ability to simultaneously do separate curves for left and right.  Is that useful?

The problem with Har-bal, for what Susan is looking for, is that it is a stand alone program. (at least, last I looked).

edit:
woops. just noticed this is 3 pages and old and, so, well, OK.. Carry On.

You might find this thread useful. The AN-879 Analyst help file is installed with the plugin in "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Plugins" and can be bought up by pressing F1 when the Analyst UI is in focus.

Ok.. How about an analyzer 'in' the ProChannel EQ?

Not unless there is some way to make it pop up to a much larger size.  The EQ is hard enough to use in that tiny ProChannel footprint.  I can't imagine an analyzer being of any use that size.

AM I missing something really basic?  Is there a way to pop up the ProChannel tools to "full size"?  Without that, I think the ProChannel is pretty useless.

Their whole product suite looks like a good value.  How do you like it?
