EZ Drummer question and comment...
I am catching up on some of the video tutorials and feature videos from TT about EZD2. The beard guy mentions that I don't have to use just TT midi files but EZD2 can look at my other midi files for hits and grooves. I have LOTS of old Acid Loops, some like the Mick Fleetwood set that I would love to be able to pull midi from to add hits to drums in a EZD2 kit, or perhaps some complete loops. Am I understanding this correctly, will it do this? That is what he seems to be saying in this video at about the 9 minute mark.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnQN3cX4CscI also noticed in the same phrase he says that EZD2 will also search TT online in products that you don't own to try to find the perfect groove for your tune... THAT is a great marketing idea! It not only help us but helps TT sell more midi packs. I don't know how this works with audio samples like Nashville or Americana... maybe they have both audio and midi... IIRC, I think they do... anyway.. a good marketing scheme!
CAN I pull Acid Loops/one hits into EZD2 to incorporate into a drum track? I hope so... but I'm not sure. I have nearly 100g of Acid Loops from a while back. I don't use them anymore but this may change that, unless I am not understanding. Would I have to change groove clips and acid loops into .ezx or does EZD2 do that automatically?
Do you know?
Thanks!
