Heh heh, I think you mean the 3-pack, but yeah, good deal from JRR.
I like the "Amps" pack a lot -- if you have EZMix, $25 is a steal. As for the other fx, they're good mainly for getting a quick & dirty result, or as a starting point to build on, or just for getting ideas. Interesting to hear what producers like Chuck Ainlay or Neil Dorfsman might do for various tracks.
For those unfamiliar, EZMix is a big toybox of every effect you could think of, mixed and matched into hundreds of presets to give you specific sounds on specific instruments. It would be nice to be able to tweak more than one or two parameters, or at least be shown what each effect is doing for each preset, but it's still a pretty fun tool.
Fans of the Waves Artist Signature plugins would likely enjoy EZMix, and be pleased to see that CPU usage is MUCH lower -- those Waves plugs are the biggest CPU hogs!
