EZ drummer question

I'm late to the party, I know but I have bought EZ drummer and am currently on a tight budget.
If you could only buy one EZX expansion, which would it be?
I work with a wide variety of styles from Rap/Hip-hop to Country and Blues rock.

If I were going to only buy one EZX, it would be Nashville.

One of my favorite EZX kits is the Nashville one.  It's an extremely versatile kit that is of use for much more than the name may hint at.

+1 on Nashville but Classic is great too. Oh, Americana is exceptional too.

But you can't go wrong with Nashville.
    (or Classic or Americana).

Tough one but if forced to make a choice I would say The Classic.

Does anyone have experience with the Claustrophobic kit?

Too extreme for what you're doing, IMO.

I so want to use that kit but have yet to fine the right place to do so.

I have a regular client who is a rapper and I'm thinking the Claustrophobic kit would be pretty useful. I suppose I could send him to you so you could get to use it Bapu

Claustrophobic is one that I don't have and I don't really think I need it.

daryl - don't pay $80 for one EZX - even tho the 3/$75 sale is over, I think all of April is still ~half price, so you can get one EZX for about $40.

Look out for the special crossgrade offers from EZ to Superior Drummer that they run from time to time too - easily worth the extra IMHO.

It's the Nashville for first pack. Basically the default kit really is a pop rock kit. The Nashville beefs it up to more of a rock kit. I don't think the name did it any favours in the sense of what it sounds like. Don't expect a big booming kit; it's just a fuller sound to the default kit.

I've never paid full price for any of the toontrack products I own except for the MIDI packs and the producer packs.  they have never put those on sale that I'm aware of and they're only available by download from the toontrack site.

EZD itself I got free!  I was chosen in a random giveaway on Scott Garrigus' website several years ago and that started me into toontrack and I love it!  I was on the verge of buying AD when I got notification of winning EZD!

all of my expansion packs I've paid $40 or less each
I paid ~$69 crossgrade to Superior on a sale at GC
I have paid no more than $80 each for the SDX's I have.

Buy when on sale as suggested. I've noticed, and others may have too, that when stuff is on sale, it's cheaper. Weird but that's the reality.

I think Claustrophobic or the Twisted Kit would be great for hip hop, I own both and really like the non-traditional percussive sounds and loops. I also own Beatstation and like what that offers as far as bass/pad sounds.
