When I wrote the above post, I really thought that maybe ya'll was being a little too harsh on them. Maybe ya'll were just too jaded to hear the hook's.

ANd now, after listening to the first three demo's I couldn't take it anymore!!

Hooks? What a joke!!

Seriously. Don't bother with this one.

Wow. I remember when a hook reached out and grabbed ya by the seat of your pants. I still have 11 vouchers for EZ keys MIDI packs, but the Hooks and Chord demos sound more like a muzak mashup of the worst hip and transit yoga genres.

I don't think I'd survive an elevator ride through the presets.

If you can imagine the melodies played on modern synth sounds, over some banging beats, you've got the makings of a modern pop song.  Max Martin might not be losing sleep over this pack, but I think it could be useful for that sort of thing.

The new age demos don't really sell this pack, though.  Nor does the track that sounds like a ripoff of Phil Collins "Against All Odds".

After hearing what all this Rave is about, I can see how Juan be misled down the advertised rock path when clearly it's just Jalapeno Pop.

Ya may want to read Toontrack’s blurb when a new MIDI pack comes out. If the actual musician behind the pack gets credit (and an interview on making the pack) then I grab it. When there’s no specific information on who made it, I pass (gas).
