EZKeys opinions?

Hi all,
Seeing all the great new stuff in EZ Drummer 2 had me run across some info on EZKeys. I think this would be a great tool to add to my toolbox, but there are surprisingly few posts regarding EZKeys here. I would love to hear opinions from those that use it...

PS: No hurry, I'm thinking I'll wait for a sale...

EZ Keys is great and very EZ to get a quick song laid out. The MIDI performance features are very good in adjusting key/tempo quickly. I found the Chord selector to be really good at adjusting individual chords (add/remove notes from a chord) and you can easily put a whole song together, drag/drop it into Sonar.

I'd definitely recommend it (yeah, on sale would be the best way to get it).

Edit: I forgot to mention it's a FUN and useful tool toplay with!!!

I've used it on three songs so far and the fourth is in works.

IMO it's like having your own private session player on call 24/7.

They had a no-brainer kind of sale not too long ago. I suspect it will come around again. They have add-on packs and you can only sell them if people have the core programme.

I absolutely love EZkeys for laying out a song...

I use it to build the MIDI ...and then switch to my preferred Piano VSTi...

The EZKeys Piano's are "ok"...but not the best...

These are my thoughts exactly, the midi element is the part that is worth buying into.
You can flesh out a song very fast and tweak quite quickly once you get the basics down.

Coming from a guitar back ground this has given me new options and helped my creativity rather than being locked into the same patterns of songwriting.
