EZX Latin Percussion - SD2 interface or EZX?

I just ordered Latin Percussion.  I own Superior Drummer 2.  My question is should I load it into Superior Drummer 2 and use that for the Interface?  Or should I just use the EZ drummer interface?  I will most likely use it in projects with an existing instance of SD2.  Would using 2 instances of SD2 in the same project cause problems? (I've got plenty of RAM and run Win7 64)  Are there any advantages either way?  
 
I know the SD2 interface would give me tons of options, and I would prefer the SD2 interface if it is easy to set up.  But maybe SD2 is designed for drum kits - not percussion?

    Hi Geno. It will work in Superior Drums. All the EZ packs I've purchased do. I have the Latin Percussion. Mook-

    One more thing, you can use multiple instances of SD.

    Thanks Dave - what about Drum Maps?  Are there drum maps for Sonar available, or do you have to create them?
     
    BTW - I've been waiting for an excuse to buy this for a while, then I saw it on sale on Amazon for $37.  Couldn't pass it up.

    There is some info about Drum Maps in this forum if you do a search.

    However, someone put some SONAR drum maps on the Toontrack site.

    Do this:

    Login to your Toontarck account

    Go To DOWNLOADS (Upper right green button)

    Scroll down to the bottom of the page to Extra Downloads (user contributed)

    Select: Superior / Host Stuff / SONAR / Drum Maps

    Download and go.

    Thanks for your help Dave - I downloaded the drum map, however doesn't look like there is one for Latin Percussion there.  I'll do some searching.

    It doesn't take much time nor certainly much skill to put together a drum map.  I know because I am one of the folks responsible for the some of the drum maps available at the Toontrack site.

    I'm guessing it should take you about a half hour to put together something you will be use from then on.  There should be a way for you to share your effort with others via posting on the TT website if you would like to.

    I recommend the Superior interface if you want maximum ability to tweak the instruments.  You can also load multiple instances of the instruments via Xdrums and maybe tune them differently in order to give you additional options.

    Thanks Dave - I'm now a loyal toontrack user, thanks in part to you.  Yeah I've put together a bunch of drum maps throughout the years myself.  I was trying to avoid the 1/2 hour, but its no problem really, they go pretty fast once I get going.  I'll try to post my results on the TT site if I can figure it out.

    I really Toontrack and the Superior product and I can't wait to try Latin Percussion.
