EZkeys Midi Packs (Installation issue) Resolved
I don't have any of the expansions and am thinking of getting one (possibly with syncopated rythms.....the Latin pack??). Anyone have this pack or suggest any others? EDIT: changed title......please see below.

I have a number of packs and I think they are worth every penny - and was hoping for some reductions on Black Friday but didn't find any :-( I haven't got the latin pack but I think just getting a good variety is the way to go as I rarely use the "genre specific" files for the relative genre - I just go with what feels right and you can never have too many choices!

I bought pop 1 and 2 and country this weekend. I got them installed and they seem to integrate just fine into EZKeys. Just need the standard kit for EZkeys format. The deluxe format includes more straight up (non ezkeys) midi.

I also have a couple of the Piano Loops ones mentioned above. Nice additional MIDI bits for EZKeys. On balance, I would say they are a bit more modern than the ad packs from Toontrack, but the ad packs from Toontrack are excellent with great starts for ideas to work from.
Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

I installed the Latin pack (via Toontracks installer) and everything went smoothly, but when opening EZkeys in standalone mode (64 bit), it's not showing the Latin pack. The TT installer put it in a folder (Common Files), but it seems like it's in the 32 bit area (Program Files x 86). I tried pointing the EZkeys browser to that folder, but it didn;t show. Also tried copying that Latin pack and putting it in the 64 bit area of TT/EZ Keys folder, still nothing. Can anyone please tell me what the file path is for these Midi packs (x64)? Of note, I'm also not seeing in the Browser area any of the Styles (i.e Pop/Rock), breakdown of song parts (intro, verse, chorus etc...) and variations......like it should be in the pic below. I do have the latest version (1.20).

My add on packs packs are here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Toontrack\EZkeys\Midi They show up fine in EZKEYS, which is running on my 64bit windows I guess it is fine to put the content files within the 32bit folder

I didn't get a chance to test it out last night, but will try it out this evening and post back. I've heard that the Gospel pack is quite useful for many genre's, so that might be my next victim. :)

I'm really happy with this Latin pack. Very musical melodic/rhythms and a very good variety included: Rhumba, Tumbao, Maracatu, Samba, Merenge, Cha cha cha, Slow Bossa - Fast Bossa, Ijexa Afoxe, and Son Y Timba (everything from 90 BPM to 170 BPM). Many of these styles I haven't heard of and barely can even pronounce them, but are generally good and looks promising. Definitely worth the admitting price. I'm looking forward to adding other genre's as well to have good variety in the toolbox.
