The Theme improvements are welcome.

Wow. Thank you Cakewalk!

Smart Swipe is incredible. This is the kind of workflow improvment that seems so small yet makes such a big difference.

I never did a smart swipe. The store manager caught me every time. They must've had cameras.

I have segmented meters disabled. I had my meters set for the VU Hi level and the VU Low level to be orange, and the VU Tick Marks to be black. When I started up after installing early access, the VU Tick Marks had changed to white, and preferences will not let me change them back to black.

A deep chesty bawl echoes from rimrock to rimrock, rolls down the mountain, and fades into the far blackness of the night. It is an outburst of wild defiant sorrow, and of contempt for all the adversities of the world. - Aldo Leopold

I really like the "Smart Swipe" feature - Quick Groups were/are great, but in certain circumstances this feature is so handy.

Together they make altering several tracks at a time a breeze.

@promidi - thanks for pointing out the TH3/Boutique reminder - I got carried away and left that out.

It's nice to see PC FX chains not standing out like a sore thumb in the Tungsten theme antmore..

First - Kaspersky Internet Security 2016 thinks "SONAR_Platinum_Setup_22.6.0.26.exe" has a trojan horse virus.
I put it on an exclusion list and eventually got it installed.

Second - this is minor, but the problem is still there where if you set
"track view bus name text" to a color - this will set the bus text AND the folder name text to the same color.
Setting "track view track folder name text" has no effect.

This has always worked fine until themes were introduced in 2016.5.

I'm sure I posted this in Problem reports - but I can't find it. I'll try again, as I don't know if it should go here in the early release report or the problem reports.

Have you installed the early release (including docs)?  If so, open up Sonar's help file and search "Smart Swipe track controls".  All will be revealed

"With a single click and swipe, you can now engage or disengage the same track control across multiple tracks in one gesture, without having to click more than a single button. Simply click a button in one track, then drag across adjacent tracks without releasing the mouse button. While swiping, you only need to touch a track strip in order to engage its control--there is no need to carefully position the mouse cursor over the actual button. Only buttons that match the clicked button’s state will change"

Would depend if there were any additional pre-sets in the cakewalk sets as they are not distributed as part of the full TH3 version.

I was gonna say the same thing - but I guess you might want to install the rest of the boutique FX.
I don't know if the Cakewalk VST3 plugin is the same name as the "full" one...

I have the preview installed but I can't seem to get the swipe feature to work in any of my projects.  Is there something that needs to be enabled or a specific step, other than clicking in one track (mute, solo, etc.)  and dragging to adjacent tracks without letting go of the mouse click?  Odd that it isn't working for me, any thoughts on mouse settings that could be problematic?

Not sure if this is a new thing or I just noticed, but in the Mercury theme the bars at the top of each PC channel FX colors change to match the color of the track. In the Tungsten theme this does not happen.  Hopefully this feature can be added to a subsequent release.

Smart Swipe is great!

That's pretty strange - it works out of the box here, exactly as you describe - click and hold a button control and drag to adjacent tracks - and is immediately intuitive. It's seriously cool! What a simple but totally brilliant/useful idea! I can see this getting some use.
