Eating the Ego

So, this morning I made a mistake.  I mistook my ego for an Eggo waffle, and ate it with some butter, lots of maple syrup, and some becan.  I didn't realize my mistake until it was gone.  I'm not proud of myself.  I feel pretty badly, in fact.  What am I going to do without an ego?

My id has been complaining about it all morning.  I'm not really listening to it, though.  Nothing really makes sense right now.  I'm just stumbling through my day, trying to stay out of everyone's way.  I'm not sure if those purple armadillos sitting around the conference table are real or not, but I'm handing over my becan just in case.  Who am I to keep it for myself?

I'm looking forward to getting back home tonight.  I'm already thinking about dinner.  I'm thinking of having Supper Eggo waffles.  What could possibly go wrong?

I'd eat my ego but it's far too big for one meal.

Normally, I would have thought my ego was oversized for a single meal.  Last night, however, I washed it and I think it shrank in the dryer.  Of course, when I took it out, I did find an extra red sock.

Well, I eventually sat down and ate half of mine and the other half of it said it could do 4 times better than that so now it's even bigger.

In my case, they normally follow that with, "You stupid fat pig!"
