Edirol FA-66 Missing Outputs, any ideas?

I'm in desperate need people so I'll get to the point......

For those unaware the FA-66 comes with 4 output jacks on the rear labelled 1-4, consisting of two stereo pairs, and a digital (S/PDIF) optical out, totalling three Stereo outputs.  Usually my main monitors use output jacks 1+2, this being output 1.

Been using my FA-66 with no probs.  Been aces.  But now I want to use outputs 3+4 so off I go to the output of a track to re-assign but there's not a selection for them  None.  Gone.  Only outputs 1 and 3 are there.  Checked send menu's, output menu's, and any others where this might be available but I just don't seem to be able to select output 2.  And the meter for output 2 never reads anything no matter what I select.
In the console view I can see outputs 1, 2 and 3.  In the drivers dialogue box there are three outputs: 1, 2 and 3 all with ticks beside them.  I have changed from WDM to ASIO to see if this makes a difference but nothing.

Please help me Sonarites..

My UA 101 has the opportunity to split the outs (meaning you should see 6 outs, not three;) any chance you need to reconfigure in the Edirol control panel?

Is it a mono track? Try it with a stereo track. When you direct a track to a main out, it keeps its mono or stereo properties, If i remember correctly.
This is why you should set up a bus and send the bus to outs 3 and 4 instead of tracks.

Only outputs 1 and 3 are there.

Keep in mind that those outputs are stereo.
Stereo Output 1 is channels 1&2.
Stereo Output 3 is channels 3&4.

If you want to isolate a sound to either channel 3 or 4 (not both), use the pan control (set the output port to 3 and hard-pan either left or right).

There is an option under 'Audio' to 'show output tracks as mono' or something like that, have tried it but it still only reveals Outputs 1 and 2 and outputs 5 and 6.

I've tried sending both the master bus (stereo) and setting up a send from the master bus but neither gives the selection for outputs 3+4 (aka Output 2)

I believe that Stereo Output 3 is the digital out (channels 5+6) Jim, and Stereo Output 2 is channels 3+4.
If I pan the Master Bus hard left, for example, to use on channel 3 being the left side of stereo output 2 it still doesn't give me the choice to select either outputs 3, 4 or 3+4 Stereo.  Options aren't there.

I shall uninstall the drivers, reinstall and see if that helps.  If not I'm off to bug Edirol, but if anyone can come up with other suggestions I'd really appreciate it, thanks.

Just an update really incase someone comes across a similar problem.
It seems that ASIO mode gives me all outputs.  Great.  WDM however, only gives me one analog out and one digital out.  Stereo output 2 (outputs 3+4) are still MIA.
I'll keep it updated if I find a solution.
