Edirol UA-4Fx output not seamless

hi
I'm working with the above interface in Sonar but I get sudden stops and go, even with reasonable latencies, always at the same points of a song o project.
The same with Windows media player playing simple wav.
What's the matter? I think I have made every possible tweaking at the settings...
