[Edit: RESOLVED] Can't change default Video Engine in Sonar Platinum

Hey all,
I'm trying to switch back to the DirectShow video engine because I'd like to be able to start my video a few bars into my sequence (not possible with the Media Foundation engine, according to the docs). But following the procedure in this article produces no change. I remember this working in X3.

I'm on Win7x64, Sonar Platinum Cambridge. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Mike

I figured this out. Apparently I was importing a file format that wasn't supported by DirectShow, so even though my default was DirectShow, it went back to Media Foundation to open this file. Opening an old AVI worked. So I guess I'll convert this file as a workaround for now.

I do wish Media Foundation would allow the offset, as no one sends me AVI's and the files get huge.

    Thanks!
    Mike
