[Edit] Track view question

What is the dotted, vertical line that moves back and forth with the mouse on the clips pane/Time Ruler called?

And more importantle, how do I turn off the little number readout at the top of the line that indicates where the cursor is?

Thanks for any help.

you are referring to the aim asst line (that feeds the numbers in small digits).
I believe the shortcut is X. Press "X" to toggle it on/off.
It is helpful for when dragging data around to see where it lines up. so toggling it will be a use.

I keep Aim Assist on permanently . Without it I keep losing sight of the mouse pointer. With multi-screens it's almost essential.
