Edit filter selection for multiple tracks holding down CTRL key is not working for me .

I want to display the volume automation lanes for all my tracks in the project at the same time without having to select it for each track individually. In the manual the instructions to do this is to select my tracks and than choose the volume automation lane in the edit filter for one of the selected tracks while holding down the CTRL key. It's not working for me.... The automation lane will only be displayed on that track that I make the selection on and the other selected tracks remain unaffected. Can anybody confirm that this thing is working right on their system?...Thanks!
 I have Manchester studio , but it didn't work before either.
