Edit pitch bend and mod wheel in Piano Roll tutorial?

One of the last major Sonar releases did change the pitch bend and mod wheel edits and since then I am frequently struggling when I do pitch bend and mod wheel edits in the piano roll. There is probably something that I am missing...
Is there any tutorial for doing these edits?
