Editing Bus Automation

Hello

I´m using Sonar PE 8.5.

I was wondering: is it possible to edit a bus envelope using the track view, instead of the Console view ?

I would like to make small changes on a bus envelope, by adding nodes and then editing them, the same way i do with the tracks envelopes.

Also, is there a way to see the wave form on the master bus, from the track view ? I once saw a video on youtube of a guy using Sonar, and as the song was playing, the wave pictures of the Master Bus was being written.

Thank you.

Click the Button I have outlined in red in the image below to Show/Hide the Bus Pane. Resize the Pane as needed.

The button I have outlined in red in the image below is the Waveform Preview button. Enabling that will allow you to see the waveform being drawn. Not sure how useful that is since it uses up resources, though I admit it does look cool.

    Thanks !

I was thinking that viewing the Master Waveform would aloud me to edit the automation applied to the Master from the Trackview.

But what about the Busses ? Can I edit their automation from the Trackview ?

    Thanks

    Hey DaSilva

Yes you can edit envelopes as you would in the track pane in the buss pane, which you access using the first button that Chappel has highlighted for you, just right click in the relevant bus lane and select envelopes.

Very straight forward, there's not really any reason to use the mixer view at all.
