Editing Midi tracks

Hello,

Is there a good tutorial on how to edit midi data both in the staff and piano roll view?

    what are trying to edit?
     
    staff view are a little harder to come by in tuturials, free ones at least.

    I am not trying to edit anything specific.
    I just want to dig deep into into editing midi and find the ricks and hints of x2 regarding editing...
