Editing a one shot snare to fit my tempo

I am using Sonar 8.5P and am trying to program my own drum pattern with one shots in .WAV format.  I want to make them in to Groove clips. It worked great for the kick but the snare has all these pops in it.  I noticed the snare has a BPM of 220 in the properties window and my track is 130.  Can I make these groove clips or is the time difference going to be an issue?  If yes any tips on how would be appreciated.  If more info is need let me know. I am entering to new waters of learning with this project.

Thanx

Not that familiar with groove clipping. what do you mean by "all these pops" in it. How about using audiosnap  to line a bar of snare hits up and then copy and past it?.

I dont use sonar for that kind of work so not much help, but I seen wexford in the name so I had to reply, a wexfordian myself!!

That is a method I did not think of. Thanx! Truth be told Wexford is the street I grew up on near Detroit MI, but I have visited cork, dublin, lymeric on holiday and really enjoyed myself.

my bad! maybe someone else could decipher your actual problem, but my method should be straightforward too.

Combining multiple one-shots: fade the edges for no pops, line them up where you want to hear them, bounce them to one clip, make sure the clip is trimmed to exact measure boundaries, then change it to a groove clip. If it doesn't say it has the right number of beats, just edit the number of beats in the loop properties page and save it.
