Editing audio files within SonarX3...?

Hi,

I'm fairly new to SonarX3...

Is there an easy way of editing the audio wav data directly in the audio files recorded into SonarX3?

By editing, I mean shifting wav data around for timing purposes, extending sound lengths (copy & pasting wav data), or reducing sound lengths...

I see there is some ability to do this within Melodyn but I don't seem to have the degree of control I'm used to having in the past using SoundForge to directly modify the audio data, for fine adjustments to my recordings.

Many thanks for any help with this!

Andy

It sounds like you may want to be using AudioSnap. Looking up some YouTube or CakeTV tutorials on that would probably be the quickest way to get you up and running.

Some of the things you want to do a the basics of editing audio within Sonar.
Perhaps doing a few of the tutorials in Sonar might help. Press F1 and the opening page of the help file lists about 8 or 9 tutorials. There is one appropriate to your question.

The reason I suggest tutorials is that it will quickly familiarise you with the various basic tools and open you up to more advanced techniques.
