Editing in PYRO 5.

In a short section of recording I hear a strong high frequency noise. The speaker had trouble with his microphone. I can create an extra track of this section and work on the noise. When this is done I don't know how to re integrate that section into the rest. In other words How can I remove the track markers so the whole thing becomes one track again?
Regards,
Joseph

Split the track where the problem starts and split it again where it ends. Then when you save, save as multiple files. So now you have Sections 1, 2. and 3. Call the fixed section, Section 2a. Load them back into Pyro, except replace Section 2 with Section 2a. There you go!

    Thank you for your answer.

I suspected, that I have to save it first and then recall the wanted sections, but I hoped, that there is a simpler way to merge the two sections and then eliminate the second track number to create one single track.

You're expecting a lot from a cheap program.

    Joseph,

As Dave alluded to, you are wanting to do tasks usually performed in an audio editing program. If you do not have one of the Cakewalk multi-track audio software programs, I've heard good things about the free Audacity program.
