Editing in X2 - am I missing something
How do I select a group of clips? When I draw a rectangle to select a bunch of clips it also selects parts of other clips. I don't like this behavior. How can I make it work like before (X1 and previous version)?

I think they change the behavior of the lasso tool so that you just have to lasso a tiny bit of the clips. I think the old way required lassoing around the whole clips. Are you touching the unwanted clips with the lasso? I may be way off on this because I haven't played with it too much but I seem to recall this being mentioned in one of the vids.

They changed the behaviour - there's a right click drag and left click drag which select clips differently. I find this way better than before - you just need to learn a new method. Took me about 2 minutes. <EDIT> Nice pic Bajan - is that Table Mountain in the background there? I lived in Newlands when I was a splinter.

Yep, left click and drag selects a range over multiple clips. Right click and lasso will select any (whole) clips the lasso touches.
