Editing of posts on this forum is severely messed up?

I really don't want to be 'that' complaining / annoying guy, but I have only recently created an account. On two occasions in the last day, I have attempted to edit posts of mine in a single thread and the entire thread was destroyed (?), lol. Other users have reported the same problem.
 
Is this issue likely to be addressed!?

    The answer is that the forum software runs a snooping program in the background looking possible spam.

    When several posts appear quickly after one another especially with a new user it can be misinterpreted as spam. The moderators are usually pretty quick to restore such posts.

    It maybe you don't have enough posts to edit a post or add pictures or links. I think you need at least 25 to edit a post or do much of anything. This is to help stop spammers. It is not aimed at you but because of some people spamming this method is there to help weed out the bad guys.
