Editing the Play List Set Fields

I realize this probably isn't a HOTT topic on these forums, but I've finally found a real need for this feature.  The problem is that the 2,000+ pg Ref manual doesn't delve deep enough into the feature to tell me what I need to know.  When I load the 1st song into the order, and it displays some of the fields, a few things are wrong, or just not there.  So, when I go to change the Tempo/BPM, or Key it doesn't allow me to.  I was able to add a note, but I really need to be able to edit these fields.

Anyone have any ideas on this subject.

    From http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/default.aspx?Doc=SONAR%20X3&Lang=EN&Req=Playback.38.html

The BPM, Key, Meter and Length columns only apply to projects that have been saved in SONAR X2a or later. To enable these columns for older projects, resave the projects in SONAR X2a or later.

Thanks, but I've got X3, and these projects were created in X3.

The data is read from the project and not editable in the playlist.
