Effect Sends..

 
Is there a "Correct" way of addin say reverb to an audio track.  I have a reverb bus, and I can either send an audio tracks output TO the reverb bus or insert a "send" in the audio track to the reverb bus. 
 
Reason I'm asking is the outcome is different sounding for either way, sending the audio tracks output to the reverb bus sounds better to me.  Inserting a send to the reverb adds volume to the track and I have to fiddle with the gains.  ; )

    You want to route the OUTPUT of your tracks to either a non-reverb bus or to your master bus
    You then want to insert a SEND from your audio tracks to your reverb bus.

    All busses, reverb, non-reverb etc MUST have their OUTPUT routed to your master bus

    Use each tracks send level control to control how much is fed to the reverb

    Make sure on your reverb plug that it's set to 100% WET
