Effects jump to another fx bin

Hello, Sometimes when I double click an effect in an fx bin, that effect will jump into another channel's fx bin. When this occurs, the song is always running; it doesn't happen when the song is stopped. To be clear, this doesn't happen every time, but when it does happen, the song is running. Does this happen to anyone else? Thanks.

Are you using a regular mouse or a mouse pad?
That behaviour reminds me of my laptops mouse pad. An accidental touch by some other than the intended index finger, or an inaccurate doubletap of finger (not  at the exact same spot) may cause text jumping wherever.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

Thanks guys. I'm using a regular mouse. What makes this puzzling to me is that it never happened while the song wasn't playing and it doesn't happen all the time, but often enough. I've heard that Sonar has been known to react sometimes disagreeably to tweaking while the track playing. This might be an example of that. Don't know what else it could be. It is weird though, the effect doesn't even jump a consistent number of tracks. Most of the time I just 'undo move effect' but sometimes I'll go look for it and it'll be three channels away or five or two. I don't know... could be worse problems. I'm running very stable otherwise, so I'm not too worried about it. thanks again.
