Effects order

When I look at effect bin what is the order of signal flow...top to bottom or visa-versa?

What about the ProChannel effects, guess it's top bottom as well, and further do PC effects comes on top of the effect bin ?

    Thanks

For the PC it can be either before the FX bin or after. Yes its top to bottom too.

    Thanks John
Can you choose (how's that done) whether the PC should be before or after?

    Yes

To route ProChannel pre-effects bin or post-effects bin
By default, the ProChannel signal is routed prior to the channel’s effects bin (pre). To route ProChannel after the effects bin (post), right-click any empty space in ProChannel and select Post-FX bin on the pop-up menu.

There's a really useful signal flow diagram on page 811 of the PDF manual. I have this pinned up next to my monitor.

According to that drawing using Pro Channel would bypass the effects bin, so I'm not sure that the drawing is completly accurate but, thanks for that...

Meh - I looked at the diagram. I believe it does not mean it bypasses the bin (and my ear tells me it doesn't, too). I believe the diagram showing the prochannel component was cakewalks attempt to show how it can come before or after the effects bin. It is a bit confusing 'tho, the diagram could have had a footnote or something to explain that.

Flameout is correct. It's showing the two possible places the ProChannel can be, depending on the pre / post button.
