Effects sends disappear after closing

Effects sends disappear after closing

All my track sends are now disappearing after saving and closing project. Has this happened to anyone else? Kind of annoying. This project wouldn't open a week ago and I had to open in safe mode to trouble shoot the problem. It turned out that my Aria player wouldn't load so I delated it. Now this. Any ideas?

    What happens when you try saving it with a different file name?
