E-hop - comments wanted

Going for a nice club/hip hop track.   (note still looking for an artist)

Things, I'm concerned about,

Enough parts to keep interest?
How's the reverb levels,
what about EQ
overall thoughts.

    Hi

It's hard to comment on Hip Hop without a vocalist - any music in Hip Hop is very much background alot of the time.
I think this is very good with some very clever programming. I really would love to hear some vocals! The general rhythm is quite 'typical' to classic hiphop - i would be swayed to say that this is not a 'modern hip hop' sound.

    Enough parts to keep interest?
Well - i think there's defo enough room for a vocal - but as an instrumental then perhaps it could do with a pad or two.

    Reverb Levels:
Sounds really good to me! Things appear close up and far away nicely. (envious stare)

    EQ:
Sounds really nice. I have no faults - other than a very low kinda 808 boom that comes in late on - it has some tuning to it which to me sounded like it was clashing with something. But i'm nit-picking.

    Nice work.

Thanks, I will look at the kick and reverb on the snare.

To be honest, I wanted the kick to hit a bit harder, and maybe a bit higher, but was never able to really get it the way I wanted with EQ, it kept clipping.  Maybe I need to turn the whole thing down and try again.

Also a lot of the really clever programming was done with the new stutter from Izotope, I'm really loving that.
