I'm at that phase with this song...the one where I want tons of critical feedback and brutal honesty. :-)

The song is based in rock, but I've peppered in a healthy dose of electronic stuff as well. I usually give more of a preamble, but I think this time I'll just post the link and let you run with it.

Thank you so much for taking the time. I look forward to hearing what you have to say!

Note: You cannot hurt my feelings. Go nuts.

Another Note: I'm also going to post this over on the gearslutz boards, so you might have already heard it!

Yeah, I've been a fan since I first heard Satellites...  I honestly don't think you even need to post this stuff for any sort of critiques, but rather just for our pure enjoyment...  Fantastic, man...

paulo,
Thanks for the input! The vocal chain is actually pretty simple - lots of compression and a little EQ, then a little delay and reverb. The lead was doubled and the double has super-quick (in the milliseconds) delays panned hard right and hard left, leaving the center empty for the lead.

alkie!
Good to hear from you and tickled pink that you recognized us! Just keep it down...keeping things under wraps until we release. ;-)

RRabbi,
Too kind, seriously! We get a lot of great feedback and make a bunch of tweaks based off of the feedback we get here. We wouldn't dream of passing that up!

:)  Yeah, the more ears the better... Even tho some of the tweaks would be subjective, going from good to great based on feedback is priceless. Thanks for posting your vocal chain trick again (I PM'd you a while back asking about that for another track) since I will definitely be trying to replicate it. I've always had trouble getting that sweet doubled vocal track sound without it sounding cheesy (using lame 'doubler' presets) or not in the pocket (having the vocalist do separate takes of the lead).
