Electronica Song - " Your World "
Hello everyone its been months not hanging out and posting any of my song or music projects , been really busy and tied up with moving from the state of Washington to Nashville , Tn where I live right now . Living with Step daughter and her two kids dealing with very little space or private time to work on any of my music . This new song I started a month ago , with everything going on around here I haven't spent alot of time working on it each day . I did manage to finish it today , I came up with the title from the movie Zorro the newest version . In the song theres a voice sound bit I used from the movie and added a few WHIPPING sounds in my Bridge section . James, I like the sound of this and the structure of the song. It's definitely headed in the right direction. The only thing that caught my ear was that there seemed to be more information in the left channel than the right channel. However, that's very minor and maybe that's the way it's meant to be. Good one!

Sounds pretty good, nice uptempo track. Kick drum is a bit muffled, could use a bit more definition, but other than that the mix sounds OK to me.

Thanks James ! Yea I had somewhat of a issue getting my kickdrum inside of my Addictive Drum software to sound the way I wanted it to sound and my snare drum . Maybe I will work on that some more , thanks for checking it out and leaving me a comment .

Hi Lynn , great to hear from you and thanks for your comments on this song . I haven't been around because I don't have an internet connect , I just started using my step daughters wireless connection .
Not sure about the left and right because its sounding equal in my new monitor speakers I bought just before Christmas after we moved over here but I will check that out by looking at my recorded tracks inside of Project 5 .
I did take two drum tracks and I put one out to the left and the other out to the right but everything else is all dead center .
Thanks again for taking time out to checkout this song , I need to checkout everyone else music and songs later on tonight when I have more free time today .

I do like your song, everything sounds right to me except maybe the snare, it doesn't quite sit right to me, but I see you're onto that. Well done.

Thanks Rebel007 for the comments , yea the whips were electricfied ! LOL Yea I worked with the snare's trying out what was available in my Addictive Drum software and couldn't get the sound I wanted so I did the best I could with what was there to work with .

Not bad James.
Thanks for the listen , I wanted or thought about trying to write and add some lyrics to it but after hearing the news with my Mom having to go into a nursing home because of a heart attack and stroke I can't really get into that right now .
My next song might be a song for her my mother , I get this feeling inside she's not going to be around much longer .

That sounded really good. The steady beat and progressions ensured that I was never tempted to switch off the track at any point but, I must say, I found the 'whip' wholly distracting.

Very cool James - I like it a lot - Hey thanks Daryl , with everything going on where I'm living now in Nashville with exwife , her daughter and her two small kids it took me longer then expected to nail down this new song . The word private doesn't mean too much in this apartment . A few hours every other day is what I was working with while nailing my bedroom door shut ! LOL
Maybe my new song project won't take me as long well see but hey thanks for taking time out to listen to this song and leave me a comment . So far on SoundClick under Electronic -Big Beat its listed as #1 and under Electronic it was at #55 out of 346 thousand plus and for me these ratings is a big plus for me . I have had a #3 , 4 and 5 long ago with some other song projects I posted but this is the first time reaching #1 , happy with that if these rating on SoundClick really mean anything . All thats missing is the Money Ha ! Ha ! thats not happening ! LOL

Thanks for your comments on my song Vincent , yea I started creating the song and couldn"t think of a good title and then I started thinking about this one part in the Zorro movie where he was training the other Actor who wanted to be like Zorro . They had this training Circle to practice his sword fighting skills in , the real Zorro would crack his whip and train him how to sword fight inside of ther circle .
I'm sure at one time you have seen the movie I'm taking about , anyway that's where the whipping sound came from in my Bridge section .

As was mentioned to me once the drums are not electronica enough but thats a personal thing I think.
As noted above "Not Bad" as James mentioned the kick could do with some more definition.

Thanks John , after my hand surgery and the move here where I'm living now in Nashville ,Tn I didn't do any creating or playing at all for four months . I finally got off my butt and started playing again , took me a month working on this off and on . It was slow for me because now my left thumb needs trigger finger surgery , just my luck I get the right thumb fixed and now the left thumb is doing the same thing the right thumb was doing before I had surgery .
So now I'm looking for another hand doctor here in Nashville who can fix my left thumb finger .

Hi Scotty ! Sorry for the slow reply , been really sick for the last three days . Stayed in bed all day and part of the night today because of this Upper Resptitory infection .
My mother is getting better , I talked to my brother and he told me shes doing and feeling much better . She's been in this Rehab center for two weeks or so recovering . My brother has a nice home down in Cape Coral , Florida and plans on letting her live with them , hopefully she will get back to feeling normal again living with my brother and his wife .
Are you still playing with your Band , just wondering how that is working out for you now ?
Thanks for the listen and comments on this music I created , if I ever get over this stuff I'm dealing with now I will start working on another new music project .
