Eliminating as much voice out of finished song

Friend send me a finished song and wants me to eliminate the voice as much as possible. Wonder if we have any plug ins for that. The cheap trick I think is putting the left and right channels out of phase and that minimizes the center track where most of the vocal is located. Wonder if any one has another suggestion on this. Thanks Jay

    Sonitus->Phase->Vocal Remover (preset)

    ...but you most likely won't like the results.

    Mike is right... and it is a difficult process to get a good result on. Never perfect which you can only really expect on a finished track. Ask for the project files.
