Emergency help needed: Sonar X3 doesn't bounce stereo???

I have done this a thousand times in the past in previous Sonar versions. Now in Sonar X3, when I try to bounce multiple tracks to a single track (trying to proceed to mastering step), Sonar would only bounce a single track(?). I did select stereo bounce and I did get two audios(or what do yo call it?) in the track but one of them was a straight line with no audio. The new track would play on both speakers but the stereo image was not there. It's a mono sound. What's going on?

If you pan your bounced track hard left and then hard right, do you get sound from both speakers?  If your bounce is stereo, and one of the channels is flat (no signal), then that channel will (should) be silent when you hard pan to it.

You say only one track is being bounced, are you selecting all of the tracks that you want to be bounced in the track list, as well as the time range in the ruler?

I use bounce to render midi instruments to audio.  I understand that you can bounce multiple tracks to one but I never use it for that. Never. (that's just how I work... not that it's wrong to do it)

I set up all the tracks, panned as I wish, with everything else such as FX and bussing assignments and then EXPORT that entire project. No bounce, just EXPORT. The exported project comes out with everything sounding exactly like it needs to be....stereo panning, FX applied, and ready to polish up as needed.

Then, If I wish, I can import it into either a 3rd party editor or back into a NEW project in Sonar for final polishing.

Note: If you are bouncing to the SAME project, any FX you have in the master bin...reverb, compression, EQ, etc...will be re-applied thereby effectively doubling the intensity of that FX on the mix. So what you would export would not sound like the project as you knew it while mixing and working on it.  This will happen, (sounding slightly different) immediately on playback if that new bounced track is routed through the master and if the master has any FX in it's bin. That can really mess up a good mix if you're not careful.

That's why, if you are now planning to master it at home, bring it into a NEW project.

Guitar Hacker: "That's why, if you are now planning to master it at home, bring it into a NEW project."
Right, that's my reason for bouncing to a new track, which I planned to bring it into a new project.

Thank you guys for trying to help me out. I found my solution. For some reason my master output was not assigned to my hardware. I found out the next day when I opened Sonar, reminding me about the "master" routing problem. I don't know how it happened. But everything is okay now. Cheers.
