E-mu 1820 malfunctioning!!! what card should I get?

I love my E-mu 1820 but lately it's been acting up and I can't stand it no more . I need a good interface that will act as my general sound card as well for other apps like TV tuner.something around 400-$ 500but it must perform as a general  sound card as well. Help!!!.

    what other requirements do you have?

    at least 2 mic pre ins a few 1/4 ins at least 4 outs and have routing options. What I really like are the built in FX from the 1820 I use them for recording.ASIO compatible

    Check out echo products or the m-audio fast track ultra,

    Make sure it is the ultra so you will have good low latency performance, better than the EMU most likely-

    What's it doing? Just curious as I've owned an 1820M since they first came out and it continues to function flawlessly (knock on wood).
