EmuX inside of P5 inside of Sonar

I can't get this chain to work. EmuX works fine with P5 or with Sonar but not with P5 rewired to Sonar (EmuX is VST'ed inside of P5). I get a streaming error. Someone solved this problem using DirectiXer (I found in a search).

I want to try using Directixer. Will it conflict with Cakewalks' wrapper. How do I go about switching from the Cakewalk wrapper to Directixer.

Thanks Much

In the Cakewalk VST, at the Configuration Screen, select the EmuX and click into its properties. Once you are there, uncheck 'Enable as DX plug-in', 'Configure as DXi synth', and 'Force stereo operation'. Ok the changes and continue the configuration routine as usual.

When the Cakewalk VST adapter has finished reconfiguring, you can then point the Directixer to the EMU VSTi's .dll and simply follow its setup procedure to get it configured within the Management Console.

As I understand it, the EmuX should show up along side all your other DXi's from that point on.
