There's a huge range of synths available from DSK, all freebies. Some of them are NOT in tune!!! Proceed with caution.

Not entirely sure. Check out Dim Pro, Pentagon, Groove Synth, Rapture, Z3TA, PSYN II, Cakewalk Sound Centre

The have a free Erhu and a rather nice Dizi flute. I checked this out, and just wanted to add that if this instrument seems not to be working, note that the Erhu doesn't respond to anything below note number 62 (D5 in SONAR-speak). Haven't checked the Dizi. P.S. Bitbridge seems preferred for running this 32-bit VSti in x64... freezing with JBridge causes a consistent crash in X1. Dang 3rd-party junk.

There is a Erhu in the Digital Sound Factory "Planet Earth" expansion pack for Dim Pro, this extend way beyond the natural range of the instrument. I do prefer the Kong Audio one though
