Error Message:" Unable to open Audio Playback Device"

I read the similar posts, and haven't had success.
Running for 9 months no problems.
Changes in the computer recently, downloaded Windows IE8, Avant browser, and a virtual DJ program.
I didn't change any settings, manually myself.
Occurred at the gig! no warning.

In ASIO (haven't changed any settings)
reinstalled drivers for UA-25ex (still no help)

big job on friday, so very concerned to say the least!
Available for chat in IM, facebook, etc all day today.
Thanks
Phil

ok, just added a vocal track, and it works fine!
so I copied an old vocal clip to the new song, and the error was "the clipboard audio format does not match the current project sample rate"

next: deleted the audio tracks; still got same error message.
copied midi tracks to new song and was successful.
Oh well, Bohemian Rhapsody needed some clips redone anyway.

I would suspect the virtual DJ program. I don't know what it is, but remember, ASIO mode only supports one audio device at a time. Try switching to WDM and see if that helps.
