Error message during install of Waves Renaissance Bass Native v9.2.0
I have been updating and / or installing plugins this week that have accumulated over the past 2 years while I have been recovering from an illness. All has gone well and I am at the end of the line except for one or two. I attempted to install the Waves Renaissance Bass Native v9.2.0 but during the install, I received the following error message: "The following error occurred on the file '7za.exe'. The handle is invalid (0X6)" I aborted the install and contacted Wave support. The internet suggested this is a common error message when an antivirus package interferes. While I wait on support, I wonder if anyone here has encountered this? If I don't use this, I will not fret much. It looked good for podcasts and I do a lot of work enhancing podcasts here locally. I have Cosmos and that might do as well. From all the occasional fuss here in the forums, I am trepidatious about using Waves plugins but many friends do. Thanks, Robby edit: Waves support wants me to run an offline installer which is a 1.11 GB download (evidently all of their plugins). I'm not sure I am wild about this pony...

Have you tried installing it with anti-virus turned off? Rocky

Not yet, but that is better than running the whole 1.11 GB installer suggested by support. That's probably the best idea.
