Error message

Recently when i've been recording using sonar 8.5, i've been getting fatal error messages that have gotten in the way of my work and are just annoying. i recently turned on phantom power on my cakewalk ua-25 ex to use a studio mic. could that have something to do with it? if not, what are other solutions i may approach? thanks.

What type of mic are you using?

    32 or 64 bit SONAR?

Do you have the latest drivers?

    It could be many things.

I have a UA 25EX and it's been rock solid.

I'm no expert but I can see that if you don't know if you're running 32 or 64 but SONAR then you know know if your OS is 32 or 64 bit. If that's the case how can you be sure you have the correct drivers?

Go to start, and type in system, should give you info you need, regarding 32 or 64.

You will have no need to go in the start menu. W hen You will left click on the main screen . You will see properties option. Where You will easily get the whole information regarding the version and also mic. I hope that It should be more helpful.

True, will give software info, I was just talking about his OS, I know in my version of Windows 7, some things get put in 32, some in 64, the whole (x86) thing, my bad. Just a sure way of knowing if he has a 32, or 64 bit version.
