I cleaned up a little bit my last song - Escape. Electronic "instrumental" (haha:)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1f2Imxn4T3M   - I found an older recording on my phone when I was walking in the park and I made a video clip out of it ... just something to show...
And here is on my souncloud : https://soundcloud.com/cris_camp/escape-1

Seems very toppy and brittle whilst there is some bass in there the whole mix seem lack any real weight and it sounds heavily compressed without any real dynamics.

Thanks for sharing, I am sure with a few selective tweaks in the mix and backing off the compressors this could well work in the clubs.

For the genre I think it has potential, solid arrangement and catchy instrumental chorus.
But as Wookiee pointed out the mix seems a bit off.   Granted, I'm listening on headphones, but it feels a bit mid-rangy, lacking hi-end "air" frequencies and sub-shaking lows.

This is a very well arranged and thought-out piece.  Once you get the eq exactly right on this one, you have a very commercial sounding song -- I hope you get plenty of traction with it.  (I enjoyed the bass sound and the piano type keyboard sounds in particular.)

Gave another listen and now I'm hearing that you could put a vocal line in this to add to its commercial appeal.  ?
