Eternal Cosmos - Revised Mix (13/03/2017)
Well what a week. My audio interface decided to die on me midway through the week, hence me not posting responses to others songs/instrumentals. So I had to part with some cash and got myself I nice brand spanking new RME Fireface UFXII and a new patch bank for Omnisphere. This is the track I made solely from these patches - Radio Ready from Pluginguru, drums are from SuperMacho Drumz again Pluginguru. https://soundcloud.com/biodiode/eternal-cosmos

Sorry to hear your I/F died Adrian, lost my system disk a couple of weeks ago.
I enjoyed your tune made for a pleasant listen.

Ah this song takes me back to the days of MODS. (Remember that format of PC music?). There were some amazingly talented people making music in ways that were supposedly impossible on PC at the time. The sounds you picked out on this are very reminiscent of those days, but without the lo-fi quality. I LOVE this.

Thanks all for listening. @ Wookie - Been burned by system disk failure before, not fun. I now have a backup procedure which I follow religiously especially if I change any settings. @ Synkotron - Thanks Andy. Sometimes when ideas are not forthcoming limitation always helps. We have all these nice toys to play with these days that you sometimes end up either preset hopping or endlessly twiddling knobs. @ Midiboy - I remember those MOD trackers, there's still a few knocking around. It's amazing what they could do with those things and still only be less than a 1mb when finished.

My favorite MOD tracks came from the guy that did the original Deus Ex. Very cool. This is very reminiscent of that. Sounds very nice Adrian! Regards, Dan

Don't forget RME DigiCheck.
StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen. I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

This is nice work and comes on the heals of the new planet discoveries 40 light years out. My only crit is that the drums are too loud in the quieter parts of the song. Over all a nice mix and arrangement. I liked it!
